Welcome to a new and exciting school year at Brewster High School — a place where literacy, growth, and opportunity shape the foundation of student success.
As we begin this year, I want to emphasize our commitment to helping every student become a confident communicator, critical thinker, and lifelong learner. At the core of our mission is literacy — not just reading and writing, but developing the skills to analyze, express, and engage with the world in meaningful ways.
This year, we are also proud to expand our Dual Enrollment Program and Ptech, giving students the chance to earn college credit while still in high school. These courses not only challenge students academically, but also prepare them for life beyond graduation by building college-level skills and confidence. We encourage all eligible students and families to explore these opportunities and speak with our counselors about how dual enrollment can fit into their academic plan.
In addition, we are launching Senior Success Projects designed to promote real-world learning, collaboration, and personal growth. These projects will allow students to connect classroom learning with community impact — whether through research, service, entrepreneurship, or creative expression. Our goal is to empower students to take ownership of their learning and see themselves as capable of making a difference.
At Brewster High School, growth is not just academic — it’s personal. It’s about building resilience, responsibility, and a vision for the future. With the support of our dedicated staff and engaged families, we know our students can rise to every challenge and discover their full potential.
Let’s make this a year of purpose, progress, and pride. I look forward to all we will accomplish together.
Warmly,
Nichole Horler
Principal
