Work-Based Learning

What is Work-Based Learning?

Work-Based Learning (WBL) comprises many aspects that surround the total experience of a student in CTE (Career and Technical Education).  While CTE is considered more of a classroom learning experience, WBL is seen as the real-life application in a real job placement.  WBL is a unique hands-on experience where the classroom or lab operates like a professional setting.  After learning to perform in the lab setting and getting accustomed to the expectations of employers and the necessary skills, they go to work for a local company.
